Terms of service.
Our terms and conditions are in place to protect our business and clients. When you make a booking you are accepting these terms and conditions as advised upon the time of your booking.
Bookings
Appointments are booked through the website via the services page where you can select your desired time and date. You will be required to pay a non-refundable booking fee of 50% as a minimum or you can choose to pay the entire fee of your chosen services.
Failure to Attend
Should you fail to attend your appointment you will lose your booking fee and we reserve the right to charge you the full treatment fee. We reserve appointments for bookings and when clients fail to attend we lose income for our business. Our time is very valuable as we turn away other clients to secure your bookings.
Cancellations
We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for cancellation of your appointment. Should you need to rearrange your appointment you may incur a small admin fee to do so. We understand emergency situations can occur and we are understanding to this but we have our booking fee in place to protect our time and materials we put in place at the time of booking your appointment.
Complaints
We are certain you will be pleased with the outcome of your appointment but should you face any issues you must report this to us within 24 hours. Please do not visit another professional or salon, clear photographs must be sent to us via e-mail or our Facebook page. We will always do our best to correct any problems.
Should you wish to make a complaint about any service, please use the contact form or e-mail us directly on thebeautybarco@icloud.com. We aim to respond to your e-mail within 24 hours. However on hair and makeup bookings, if you are unhappy you must state this at the time before the makeup/hairstylist finishes the booking as adjustments can be made at the time.
Special Offers
Special offers can be found in our salon, social media, flyers or on our website. These special offers are in place for a set period of time and therefore will not be valid outside of this time. Once the special offer period has ended, prices will revert back to the original price.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are available to purchase via our website shop and these will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue. Any expired gift vouchers hold no value and we hold the right to refuse them. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged once they have been purchased and they do not hold any monetary value. Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed in cash and can only be applied towards a chosen treatment.
Treatment Cost
Due to the nature of our business, the cost of supplies can increase and therefore we may from time to time have to increase our prices for our services. All prices are subject to change but the most up to date prices can be found on our services page on our website.
Bridal Bookings
When booking in for bridal work or parties you will need to contact us via messenger, WhatsApp or Social Media. You will be required to pay a booking fee to secure your date and this is on a first come first serve basis. Your date will only be secured once we receive your booking fee.
Entertainment Parties
Entertainment parties can be booked for adults or children. We provide face painting, glitter tattoos, glitter bars & henna for any desired dates. We require a minimum booking of 2 hours for any entertainment services. Should you require us for any additional hours on the day this will be charged at a per hourly rate.
Trials
\Trials for any bridal work must be booked in advance and this must be scheduled in to our diary. You will be required to make a payment for your trial and you must pay a booking fee for this service too. Trials require just as much, if not more time and work by the artist as your wedding day.
Party Cancellations
If you book in for hair and makeup for more than one person and pay one booking fee and one person cancels their booking, you will lose out on this booking fee.
Travel Costs
Should you require our artists to travel outside of our area you will need to pay a fee to cover travel costs. We travel anywhere within the UK and can also cover destination weddings.
Remainder of Payments
Large bookings require you to pay the remainder of your invoice 14 days prior to the date that the services are required for.
Damages
Should any items of our kit be damaged in your company you will be liable to pay the cost of replacing these products.
Sickness
Should we need to cancel due to an unlikely event of sickness we will contact you with as much notice as possible and do our best to arrange another member of the team to cover your booking.
